Before we begin your journey, I am sure you’d like to know a little bit about me. I am a wife, a mom of a beautifully blended family of 5 and a seasoned co-parent. I am a former educator and school counselor with over a decade of experience working with students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. My family would describe me as a natural born helper. I’ve always said that the counseling profession found me and it has been my passion for as long as I can remember. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, catching up on my favorite reality tv shows and indulging in a day of pampering.

I received a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have received intensive training in the areas of grief, trauma, depression and anxiety. I specialize in resolving adolescent challenges such as anger management, self-esteem, anxiety and bullying. I am a registered pre-martial counseling provider with Two Together in Texas and certified Prepare and Enrich facilitator.

I do not believe that there is a standard “cookie cutter” therapeutic intervention as each client’s challenges present differently. I pull from various treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. With my professional training and life experiences, I am prepared to empower you with the tools needed to bring about positive change, personal growth, healing and self-discovery. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is unbiased, honest and supportive. I work with teen clients ages 14-17, young adults and couples.

The twists and turns of life can be overwhelming to navigate, but you no longer have to figure it all out alone. Allow me to walk alongside you on this journey to ultimate wellness. If you have been looking for a sign, here it is. Let's get to work.
